The visiting Bucs managed only four hits in the loss. Matt Hardin was the losing pitcher, evening his record to 1-1 on the season.

Harold Collins, Tyler Ray, Steven Glasgow and Duston Daugherty each singled as the Bucs fell to 6-2.

At Fairhope

Fairhope 8 Hoover 2

Adam Williams slugged two homeruns for Fairhope in the win over Hoover.

Dillon Breeding took the loss for the Bucs.

Harold Collins and Tyler Ray had rbi singles for the Bucs only runs.

At Daphne

Hoover 9 Mary Montgomery 7 (8)

Duston Daugherty led off the top of the eighth inning with a double and scored on an Eddie Kovacik single and throwing error by Mary Montgomery. Kovacik then scored on a sacrifice fly by Robby Lilly and the Bucs won in extra innings.

Ryan Dunne had a triple and single to lead Hoover at the plate. Harold Collins had a double and single and Daugherty had a double and single.

Lilly picked up the win in relief. The win raised Hoover's record to 7-3.

Daphne 2 Hoover 0

SIngle runs in the third and fifth innings would be all Daphne needed in the win.

Hoover could manage only four hits in support of losing pitcher Steven Glasgow. Glasgow scattered six hits and struck out six to take his first loss of the year.

Tyler Ray singled twice while Tyler Mims and Duston Daugherty added singles.

Hoover will host a double header Tuesday beginning at four o'clock against Hillcrest Of Tuscaloosa.

HOOVER 14W, 13W - THOMPSON 8L, 3L

The visiting Bucs of Coach Rick Davis swept a doubleheader from Thompson to raise their season record to 5-1.

Aided by five walks and two wild pitches, Hoover scored eight times in the top of the second. Harold Collins, Tyler Ray and Duston Daugherty provided the big hits in the inning, each with 2 rbi singles.

The Bucs pushed across six more runs in the top of the fifth to put the game out of reach. Steven Glasgow rapped an rbi double, with Tyler Mims and Daugherty adding rbi singles.

Glasgow and Mims collected three hits each.

For Thompson, Steven Ward and Trent Lucas led the Warriors at the plate with three hits a piece.

Matt Hardin picked up his first win of the year for the Bucs. Jordan Chism took the loss for Thompson.

HOOVER 13 THOMPSON 3

It was much the same for the teams in the nightcap, with Hoover scoring eight runs in the third inning on their way to a five inning win.

Jon Jon Bell and Steven Glasgow had 2 rbi hits in the inning and Robbie Lilly added an rbi single.

Leading off the fifth inning for Hoover, Tyler Ray and Drew Burke connected on back to back home runs. Ray finished the game with three hits, Lilly and Bell three rbi each and Harold Collins two doubles.

Dillon Breeding was the winning pitcher.

Pinson Valley 4 Hoover 1

The Bucs left the bases loaded in the final three innings, stranding a total of 12 base runners in the loss.

Pinson Valley was the benefactor of shoddy defense on Hoover's part, scoring three un-earned in the first two inings. That was all the help lefty Joe Burns would need as he picked up the win, scattering four of Hoover's nine hits over 5 and 2/3 innings.

For the Bucs, Steven Glasgow continued his torrid batting, gong three for four with two singles and a double. Tyler Mims, Sam Frost, Eddie Kovacik, Tyler Ray and Harold Collins contributed singles.

Hoover 2 Northview Dothan 0

Dillon Breeding, Tyler Ray and Steven Glasgow combined on a four hitter, with Glasgow getting the win.

Ray tripled in the bottom of the sixth inning and scored on Duston Daugherty's sacrifice bunt to give the Bucs all the runs they would need. Sam Frost knocked in Robbie Cramer with the games only other run.

Drew Burke and Robbie Lilly each singled for Hoover, who raised their record to 3-1
